Travelers Championship tracker

UPDATE No. 15 (4:25 p.m. ET): Weekley bogeys No. 10, and Spieth is now three ahead at 13 under. Both par No. 11 to retain their spots.

UPDATE No. 14 (4:05 p.m. ET): Weekley bogeyed No. 8 and parred the ninth. Spieth goes par-par. That means he’s still 13 under and will have a two-shot lead going to the back nine.

UPDATE No. 13 (3:40 p.m. ET): Boo!!! He holes a bunker shot for birdie at No. 7, and now he’s within one of Spieth!

UPDATE No. 12 (3:24 p.m. ET): Weekley birdies No. 6 after rolling in an 11-footer. Spieth actually makes a great up-and-down for par, but that means Boo is one-shot closer. That three-shot lead is now back down to two: Spieth, -13 and Weekley, -11.

UPDATE No. 11 (3:20 p.m. ET): Weekley bogey No. 5  after tee shot over the green. He falls to 10 under. Danny Lee birdies Nos. 7, 8 and 9 to catch him. They are T-2 at 10 under, three behind Spieth.

UPDATE No. 10 (2:55 p.m. ET): Boo!! Weekley birdies No. 3 to move to 12 under and within two. Spieth struggles at No. 4, hitting into the rough, advancing his second shot less than 40 yards and making bogey. But Weekley can’t take advantage. He fails to get up-and-down from intermediate, hitting 112-yard shot to 5 feet but missing the par putt. To update: Spieth, -13 and Weekley, -11 through four holes.

UPDATE No. 9 (2:25 p.m. ET): Spieth hits it close again at the second. He rolls in a 7-footer for birdie to move to 14 under. He’s now three ahead. Will this be a runaway?

UPDATE No. 8 (2:11 p.m. ET): Spieth stuffs his second shot to 5 feet and rolls in the birdie putt. What a start! That moves him to 13 under and two ahead. Going back to Saturday, Spieth has now birdied four of his last five holes.

UPDATE No. 7 (2:06 p.m. ET): Patrick Reed, ladies and gentlemen. He holes bunker shot at No. 7 for birdie and he’s already -4 for round and -9 overall. Captain America is just three back!

UPDATE No. 6 (2:02 p.m. ET): The final group is off! Jordan Spieth and Boo Weekley tee off No. 1 and this will be interesting.

Something odd: A fan required medical attention just moments before tee off, and Speith and Weekley actually wanted to delay teeing off until that person was attended to. The pair eventually teed off a minute or two late, but that part doesn’t matter. Hopefully that person is OK.

UPDATE No. 5 (1:35 p.m. ET): Patrick Reed may be gearing up for a big Sunday. After a third-round 72, Reed birdies No. 2, 3 and 5 to move to 8 under. He’s now just four back.

UPDATE No. 4 (12:30 p.m. ET): Not a great closing hole, but McIlroy jumps 49 spots to T-11 after that 64. He finishes with 6-under 274.

UPDATE No. 3 (12:25 p.m. ET): After another par on 17, McIlroy is still 7 under. He is 17/17 in GIR in this final round. Can he go perfect … Nope. Originally, PGA Tour had McIlroy at 23 feet from his second-shot approach from right rough. That was incorrect. His approach actually comes up well short in right rough and he gets it to 9 feet from there. Missed putt means closing bogey and a 6-under 64.

UPDATE No. 2 (11:55 a.m. ET): McIlroy pars 16, but that still means he’s 7 under. Let’s reiterate, this is his third putter in three days and he’s doing THIS. Here’s the full breakdown on his putter merry-go-round this week.

UPDATE No. 1 (11:45 a.m. ET): Rory McIlroy is finally coming alive. Four birdies in his last five holes and he’s 7 under for the round and the tournament through 15. He’s gone from T-60 to T-7. And it’s with another new putter from Saturday. His strokes gained: putting Sunday is +.799.
